Essays by John Ferns

John Ferns has been interested in George Whalley's life and writings for over 30 years. With Brian Crick, he co-edited a collection of Whalley's essays entitled Studies in Literature and the Humanities: Innocence of Intent. Three essays that he wrote are reprinted here as introductions to Whalley's life, poetry, and scholarship on Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
